Students learn games and songs in Spanish based on the musical styles and traditions of the Andes, the Spanish Caribbean, Central and South America, Spain and Mexico. Students will also play an extensive collection of authentic percussion instruments and dance as they explore different carnival traditions. Create a rainforest soundscape and play along with Surcari!

Meet the characters of E.T.A. Hoffman’s original story of The Nutcracker, as our dynamic storyteller dramatizes the tale to the sounds of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, played by a woodwind quintet. The program explores the magic of music by using the children’s imagination to compose a drama, picking the musical themes to match the characters.

Everyone participates in the most outrageous multi-media game show ever, as they conduct experiments, solve clues, and figure out riddles while trying to thwart Dr. Loboto’s hilarious nefarious plans for world domination!

They tackle racism, segregation, and the struggle for freedom in a safe, family friendly atmosphere of Hip Hop. Students hear the words of Dr. King, learn how nonviolent direct action helped end segregation, and experience firsthand the power of unity and diversity.
