Angela Miskis is an Ecuadorian American painter and mixed media artist. Her family history, interest in social service, and sustainability inform her artwork. Her artwork are vibrant and textured surfaces full of patterns and marks. Angela Miskis wants to invent a new language between mixed-media, representation, and abstraction. A new language removed from either western or Latin American art ideals.
 
Angela Miskis graduated in 2013 from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelors in Fine Arts. She lives and works in South East Queens, NY.
