Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL) proudly announces the opening of its newly furbished artist Co-Work space to the public! JCAL renovated its recently vacated 5th floor space and turned it into an affordable co-working space for local artists, creatives, and startups.
JCAL, a community-based arts and cultural incubator for the last 47 years, continues to expand its programs and offerings in service of the ever-changing community. Thanks to support from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and Artimus Construction, JCAL was able to complete the renovation of its old office space and transformed it into an affordable working space. The finished space includes 4 secured private working studios, 4 semi-private work desks, and shared work space, lounge, and pantry area.
The Co-Work space is a membership-based program. Limited-space available, first come first serve! The memberships fee is as follow:
Semi-private work desk: $120/month
General membership to access the shared work space: $70/month
