Rancho Cucamonga, CA
I began studying West African dance and culture at the age of 18. The journey has changed my life. Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, I had no idea how amazing and powerful my culture was. Once I experienced the Karamu Theater of Cleveland, Ohio, I knew I needed to understand my culture. I have traveled the world; studying, training and performing with African Masters and started a company to reach children in my community. I expanded that company to Los Angeles in 2011, and am the proud director of African Soul International.
