As an artist, a mother of two, and a Jewish woman, there are times I feel in control, well managed, loving and open, while other times I find myself angry, hurt, and distracted. These emotional characteristics have informed my creative development. I find serenity and solitude in recognizing the ecology of emotions and living with them each day—my choreography results from my classical and modern training and exploration of unrefined emotions in an organized structure. I am committed to commissioning new music, which stewards a unique collaboration between sound and choreography, demonstrating the power and value of working together. This allegiance enables the audience to explore quality, emotionally driven artistry. Through movement, I hope to create a community of vulnerability and acceptance.
