A group exhibition featuring the research modules of 14 NYC-based artists and artist groups at JCAL’s Miller and Community Galleries. Community-Based Artists took on the year-long endeavor to create public, socially-engaged projects in collaboration with organizations and sites throughout the neighborhood of Jamaica.

JENJANM has become known as one of the best group of musicians when it comes to representing the music of Haiti or the Caribbean, whether it is by way of playing Konpa, Zouk, vodou jazz or standard jazz or a combination of all genres.

A monthly series that will bring live music, spoken word and more to the community for free. Jamaica Mic Drop is presented in collaboration with Jamaica BID. The series will take place on the last Friday of each month throughout the summer, with intention to enliven the Downtown Jamaica Community and bring traffic to surrounding small businesses.
