Make Music New York is a live, free musical celebration across the city that takes place on June 21st – the first day of summer.

Make Music New York at Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning
Performance Schedule:
2:00 – 4:00pm

Anisa Fujah
Hip-Hop/ Neo-Soul Songstress & Band Da Feel
Augi Aliyu-Lead Background Vocals; Cona – Bass; Alex – Keys; Shawn Kelly – Drums; Shelton Garner - Guitar
Anisa will be performing songs from her upcoming release "Stereo Love" due in stores in Fall "08, as well as some Soul, Hip-Hop and R&B classics. Her music sounds like a love poem set to music--comparisons to Jill Scott and Anita Baker and even Erykah Badu are many. Raised in Jamaica, Queens amongst Hip-Hop luminaries Run-DMC, LL Cool J and Tribe Called Quest--you will usually hear a strong element of scratching, beat boxing and rhyming thematically.
